“We’re more alike than we think. Memories tie us together. There’s a feeling that’s evoked when you smell leather. For me it’s the La-Z-Boy my grandmother used to sit on everyday. For you it could be grandpa’s wallet or finding a muse in a new person or place. It’s why we name pieces after these things. The intention is to evoke and inspire with those memories. You want to feel good when you step into places. You want to feel like you’re supposed to be here. What I want people to know about my work is that it’s made for you.”
